Camera Lens Opener is used to remove the lens ring (lens holding ring) from
the lens unit.Attach the bit using the cross point screwdriver |
Find the pointed pit on the lens ring. (See the red circle in the picture 2) |
Use the screw in the middle of the Camera lens Opener to adjust the width.
Put the Camera Lens Opener to the pit, turn slowly, your forth should be
divided as 70% Press and 30% Turn. |

When you success to turn around 1/12 of the circuit, stop using the Camera
Lens Opener.
Put the sharp device such as screwdriver to the either pit, turn carefully
(don’t scratch!), and remove the Lens ring from the lens unit. |
Now you can remove the lens
ring and its cover (the width of the Camera Lens Opener can
be adjusted 12mm to 65mm). |
Use the Long Bit 60 LL (sold separately) when the pit is located too deep as
shown picture 6. |

Attach the long bit using the cross point screwdriver, turn slowly. |
You can also remove the lens ring from the lens unit.
Prior treatment by oil or alcohol is necessary when the lens ring attached
too tight. |
Use the other side of the bit (slotted bit) when the pointed bit does not fit
to the pit of the lens unit. |

Whet the shape of the bit by the grinder or the file, as the
shape of the pit
of the ring varies by the camera. |
Put the shaped bit to the pit, turn slowly as described. |
